Resources for Mattapan Tech Students or any Haitians in the Diaspora:
Sat. 16, 2010.-The National Highway #2 toward South and National # 1 toward North are opened for traffic. People can leave Port-Au- Prince.
The AMHE (the Association of Haitian
Physicians Abroad) will be collecting financial donations to get to the Haitian Red
Cross in Haiti. Please mail any contributions you desire to give to
AMHE-NY Chapter ((Checks payable to AMHE-NY -Disaster Relief Fund)

All contributions go directly to earthquake relief with no administrative fees
deducted from your contribution. All of the officers are Haitian Physicians
whom are not compensated and volunteer their time to improve the health of the
Haitian people.
This evening our president,  Jacques Dady Jean helped Channel 5 and the Red Cross to raise funds for Haiti's victims, so far Channel 5 has raised $256,000 www.thebostonchannel.com
Thanks to hundreds of volunteers working on the ground in Haiti and the United States, we have been able to locate 325 people in the Port-Au-Prince Metropolitan Area.

» Bizoton 53,  Rue Cheaudeau lost only 2 houses, No casualty recorded.
» Accarchon 32, Carrefour so far no casualty recorded. The Cathrine Flon High School collapsed. No student was in the building at the time of the Earthquake
