Technology where a group of experts can help
you make your path toward real world success. The
Mattapan Tech Project Management Certificate Program is an
accelerated course designed to provide you with
necessary training to become a skilled project manager for
the project management industry. Our students meet
with their instructor once every week for 3 hours
.
We
designed the program to help you develop critical
leadership abilities that are important for
non-profit organizations, businesses, and
government positions managing projects. Our students are
exposed to core competencies in general
management, such as leadership, business planning,
team building, marketing and financial management.
Our curriculum consists of: project planning,
project cost and scheduling, control, risk
management, evaluation and performance. In
addition, students will be introduced to Microsoft
Office applications: new office documents,
Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Possible
job opportunities for our graduates include
project managers, non-profit management, IT
management, business analysts, project engineers,
operations coordinators and field service
engineers.
We
take only 12 students per class.
Registration fee $30, lab fee: $150
Class
runs for 15 weeks. Students attend class for 3
hours once a week.
Pre-requisite:
Basic computer skills
A
certified Project Manager Professional earns 60K to 70K per
year
