The
Mattapan Tech International Educational Initiative
The Mattapan School of Technology
began a 6 months pilot e-learning program in Haiti in
June 2010. The results have been very successful , our
first 25 graduates are now working in government
positions, the banking industry and non-profit
organizations using leadership, management and
computer skills that they learned from our
program. We met them last month in
Port-au-Prince, we were impressed by their progress.
Now we are offering free scholarships for a limited number of
Haitian students (Haitian
students residing in Haiti). The courses include:
accounting, basic economics, negotiation, team building,
leadership, project management and marketing. The
classes will be taught by electronic means using
video, chat and other interactive methods to allow
students to interact with their instructors and other
students. Our e-learning system is very effective and
has given our institution the opportunity to deliver professional
training to every corner in the world free of charge.
At Mattapan Tech, we believe that
education is so important for the development of mankind and to improve life condition in the third
world countries that it should be free.
The Mattapan Tech's core values
are excellence, honesty and professional ethics. No
student will receive a diploma or a certificate until
he or she completed all courses, with satisfaction.
Our program is very challenging
and rigorous; our curriculum is tailored to meet the
needs of the modern industry and the needs of specific
communities. Nevertheless, the instructors will be there
to help all students succeed through their educational journey.
